Eligibility Criteria

The Wake Forest Rolesville Area Community Foundation shall provide funding for a wide range of programs and practices including the following:

  • Program-driven research and analysis
  • Personal and Leadership development
  • Model programs that increase college access and awareness and academic achievement
  • International efforts which fall under the auspices of IKARE
  • Health related programs specific to the African American, Latino and underserved and underrepresented communities
  • Supported or cosponsored events by an active alumni or collegiate Sorority or Fraternity chapter

The Wake Forest Rolesville Area Community Foundation funds national, state, and local organizations whose programs have qualitative and quantitative measured outcomes instituted within its’ operations. The Wake Forest Rolesville Area Community Foundation will consider letters of inquiry from organizations or projects only if the proposed activities have clear and demonstrable potential for impact and/or replication in other localities or regions.

The Wake Forest Rolesville Area Community Foundation will consider letters of inquiry from advocacy, scholarly or research institutions and nonprofit business associations or initiatives only if they meet the criteria above and further the work of the Wake Forest Rolesville Area Community Foundation.

The Wake Forest Rolesville Area Community Foundation does NOT provide funding for:

  • Direct services that do not also advance one of the advocacy strategies listed in the program description
  • Lobbying activities
  • Annual fundraising drives.
  • Projects undertaken by individuals.
  • Capital costs, including equipment or real estate purchases / renovations
  • Government organizations

* Sponsored organizations must have a 501c3 designation.
